It also acquires a 100% interest in the Gairloch Project, covering 217 square kilometers mineral license area located in Scotland; and Andacollo Oro Gold Project located in the Coquimbo Region of central Chile. The company was formerly known as European Gold Resources Inc. and changed its name to Galantas Gold Corporation in May 2004. Galantas Gold Corporation was founded in 1996 and is based in Toronto, Canada.
