Global Ports Investments Plc, a container terminal operator, provides various services for import and export logistics operations in Russia and the Baltics. The company handles containers; and various other types of cargo, including cars, roll-on roll-off cargo, bulk cargoes, and oil products. It operates through Russian Ports, Finnish Ports, and VEOS segments. The Russian Ports segment owns and manages container terminals in St. Petersburg port, North-West Russia; a container terminal in Vostochny port near Nahodka, Far-East Russia; container terminals in Ust-Luga and Kronstadt, near St. Petersburg, North-West Russia; and in-land container terminals in Shushary and Yanino, near St. Petersburg, North-West Russia. The Finnish Ports segment consists of container terminals in the ports of Vuosaari and Kotka. The VEOS segment owns and manages an oil products terminal in Muuga port near Tallinn, Estonia. Global Ports Investments Plc was incorporated in 2008 and is based in Limassol, Cyprus.
