It offers Urief and Urief OD tablets for the treatment of dysuria; Glufast, Glubes, and Marizev tablets for type 2 diabetes; Darbepoetin Alfa BS and Epoetin Alfa BS injections for the treatment of renal anemia; Beova tablets for overactive bladder treatment; P-TOL chewable tablets for treating hyperphosphatemia; and Minirin Melt OD tablets for nocturia due to nocturnal polyuria in males, central diabetes insipidus, and nocturnal enuresis resulted from decrease of urine osmolality. The company's products in pipeline include KPS-0373 that has completed Phase III clinical trial to treat spinocerebellar ataxia; CCX168, which has completed Phase III clinical trial for the treatment of microscopic polyangiitis and granulomatosis with polyangiitis; AJM300, which is in Phase III clinical trial to treat ulcerative colitis; R788 that is in Phase III clinical trial to treat chronic idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura; and MR13A9, which is in Phase III clinical trial to treat uremic pruritus in dialysis patients. The company was formerly known as Kissei Yakuhin Kogyo Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Kissei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in October 1964. The company was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Matsumoto, Japan.
