It operates through three segments: Lagardère Publishing, Lagardère Travel Retail, and Lagardère Live. The Lagardère Publishing segment includes book publishing, covering areas, such as education, general literature, illustrated books, textbooks, extra-curricular works, partworks, dictionaries, children and young adult titles, paperbacks, travel guides, board games, and premium stationery in English, French, and Spanish. The Lagardère Travel Retail segment is involved in retail activities in transit areas and concessions in travel essentials, duty free and fashion, and food services. It operates stores under its own international brands, including Relay, Hubiz, 1Minute, Hub Convenience, Discover, Tech2go, Aelia Duty Free, The Fashion Gallery, The Fashion Place, Eye Love, Bread&Co., So! Coffee, Trib's, Vino Volo, FIX, Beercode, Natoo, and Marché, as well as local identity store names such as Bottega dei Sapori, The Belgian Chocolate House, Sawa, Extime Duty Free, and Icons. It also operates stores under franchises or licenses with retail partners that include Hermès, Victoria's Secret, LEGO, Fnac, iStore, Miniso, Nespresso, Costa Coffee, Burger King, EL&N, Panda Express, Pierre Hermé, Eric Kayser, and Paul. The Lagardère Live segment comprises Lagardère News under Le Journal du Dimanche, Le JDNews, Le JDMag, and the Elle brand; Lagardère Radio; Lagardère Live Entertainment; and the Lagardère Paris Racing sports club. The company was formerly known as Lagardère SCA and changed its name to Lagardere SA in June 2021. Lagardere SA was founded in 1826 and is headquartered in Paris, France.
