The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing its assets in accordance with both (i) a long/short U.S. small-capitalization equity strategy and (ii) a long-only U.S. small-capitalization equity strategy. Under normal circumstances, it invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in U.S. small-capitalization equity securities and derivative instruments that provide exposure to U.S. small-capitalization equity securities. The fund is non-diversified.
