The company offers tourism services, tourist attractions management, and online ticketing and travel booking services; short-term and long-term accommodation; logistics, renovation, and facilities management; property investment, management, and development; advisory and consultancy; commercial college business for higher education; and professional development and training programs, as well as manages food and beverage outlets. It also operates an education tuition center and engages in provision of education service; offers rent-to-rent and rental management services; hotel management services; commercial college for higher education; pub, cafe, and hotels; and movie theatres. In addition, the company offers money lending, hire purchase, and other credit activities; debt factoring; term loans to businesses and individuals; short-term microfinancing loans to individuals; SME financing through invoice discounting; entertainment and film distribution; hotel, rental, and carpark management; dispatch services; and agency, investment, franchising, and brokerage services. Further, the company imports, distributes, and retails cigars and cigar accessories; engages in the e-commerce and e-business activities; resells member loyalty program; and retails snacks, beverages, and gourmet food in cinemas, as well as operates theatres screening content, such as hollywood blockbusters, local productions, independent films, and international titles. The company was formerly known as MAA Holdings Berhad and changed its name to MAA Group Berhad in October 2011. MAA Group Berhad was founded in 1968 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
