In addition, the company is involved in the transportation and storage of beet sugar raw materials and finished beet sugar products; transportation of compound feed; construction and leasing of commercial facilities, including office buildings, commercial spaces, and other properties; sale of coal, petroleum products, and automotive parts; operation of insurance agencies and sports facilities; and research and development activities under food, agricultural equipment and materials, sugar beets, and livestock areas. It sells its sugar and food products through its sales agents and its online shop. The company was formerly known as Nippon Beet Sugar Manufacturing Co.,Ltd. and changed its name to Nitten Co., Ltd. in October 2026. Nitten Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1919 and is headquartered in Chuo, Japan.
