ALCONIX Corporation imports, exports, and sells non-ferrous metal products in Japan and internationally. It operates through four segments: Electronic and Advanced Materials, Aluminum and Copper Products, Equipment and Materials, and Metal Processing. The company is involved in the trading of electronic and advanced materials, including materials for electronic materials and components, minor metal and rare earth raw materials (ore and ingot), and battery related parts and materials. It engages in the manufacture of equipment and materials related to inspection and measurement of parts and products, and materials used in automobiles and semiconductors; and recycling of non-ferrous metals and recycled raw materials, comprising aluminum, copper scrap, and recycled aluminum ingots for automobiles, magnesium ingots, and metal silicons. In addition, it is involved in the processing of metals, which include precision mechanical parts used in telecommunications equipment and other devices, semiconductor surface mounting machines; precision grinding processing parts for manufacturing equipment in the automobile and industrial machinery industries; precision stamping dies and stamping parts for the automobile industry; and metal processed components used in air conditioning equipment and automotive parts, stamping work for precision connector metal terminal parts, stamping and cutting work for lithium-ion batteries and HDD parts. The company was formerly known as Nissho Iwai Alconix Corporation and changed its name to ALCONIX Corporation in April 2005. ALCONIX Corporation was incorporated in 1981 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
