It generates, transmits, and distributes electricity; owns and operates power transmission grids; constructs, operates, and maintains power plants and express rail links; constructs civil engineering projects, such as schools, army barracks, hospitals, hotels, high-rise office blocks, and infrastructure projects; sells clean water; and treats and disposes waste water. The company is also involved in the investment and development of residential and commercial properties, such as houses, apartments, condominiums, and retail and office properties; development, ownership, and management of hotels and resorts; ownership and management of real estate investment trusts; and manufacture and sale of cement and ready mixed concrete. In addition, it operates digital media networks; provides education and training services; owns and charters yachts and vessels; hires vehicles; and charters aircrafts, helicopters, ships, and vehicles. Further, the company provides wired, line, and wireless broadband access and other related services; carbon consulting services; incubation services for technology companies, and Internet and non-Internet related businesses; financial, treasury, and secretarial services; and consultancy and advisory services for electronic and Internet commerce businesses.
