It manufactures and sells applied macromolecular electric equipment and components, and disconnectors; SCADA systems for electric power networks; manufactures and services electric equipment; and undertakes electrical engineering and construction works, and power lines and telecommunication construction works. The company also engages in the transportation and logistics business; installation of high-voltage instrument transformers; and development, manufacture, and sale of electric power meters, gas instrument transformers, and mold products. In addition, it manufactures and sells thin client systems, as well as develops computer and embedded software. The company was formerly known as Takaoka Toko Holdings Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Takaoka Toko Co., Ltd. in April 2014. Takaoka Toko Co., Ltd. was founded in 1918 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
