It also provides multilayer ceramic capacitors, film capacitors, supercapacitors, metal oxide varistors, choke coils and cores/reactors, and camera modules, as well as silicon wafers and wafer related products. The company was formerly known as Nippon Chemical Capacitor Inc. and changed its name to Nippon Chemi-Con Corporation in July 1981.
