Mikuni Corporation manufactures and sells automobile related products in Japan and internationally. The company offers products for automobiles, such as electronic controlled throttle bodies, plastic intake manifold, variable valve timing system, electric oil and vacuum pump, electronic exhaust valve, cooling water control valve, and active pedal; electronic control throttle body, throttle body, electronic control throttle body, intake module, intake module for outboard engines and personal water crafts, engine ECU, variable valve timing and oil control valve, trochoid oil pump, water pump, plastic fuel pump, secondary air valve, and TMR carburetors for motorcycles and power products. It also provides gas control devices comprising proportional gas control, gas shut-off, and motor-driven gas shut-off valves, as well as magnet units and thermocouple; small solenoid, pilot solenoid, and motor operated water control valves; gas control and water shutoff valves; and humidifier. In addition, the company offers welfare vehicles, nursing equipment, and consumer products; aircraft parts and maintenance materials; and turf-care equipment. Further, it is involved in die-casting, machining, metal plating, grinding, and stamping activities; offers welfare equipment, health equipment, automobile driving assistance devices for people with disabilities, rent-a-car with driving assistance devices for people with disabilities; management of corporate cafeterias; and import and sale of materials for aircraft manufacturing. Additionally, the company provides solutions for golf course, sport field, and resort facility; irrigation installation service; corporate welfare service, real estate leasing, and administrative services; and sells food, clothing, daily necessities, and office supplies and books. The company was formerly known as Mikuni Kogyo Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Mikuni Corporation in 1991. The company was founded in 1948 and is headquartered in Chiyoda, Japan.
