Barakah Offshore Petroleum Berhad, an investment holding company, provides offshore and onshore pipeline services for the oil and gas industry, primarily in Malaysia. The company offers offshore transportation and installation services, including pipeline/riser/submarine cable installation, transportation and installation of offshore structures, shore approach, and pipeline and structure repairs; and EPCC onshore pipeline and construction services consisting of EPCC of onshore gas transmission pipeline, mechanical and piping erection for onshore process plant, minor fabrication, shutdown maintenance, and small to medium size process facilities EPCC services. It also provides topside maintenance, hook-up, and commissioning services, such as onshore pre-fabrication work for structural steel and process piping; offshore hook-up, tie ins, and commissioning of pre-fabricated structural steel, process piping, mechanical equipment, and electrical and instrument control systems for topside of offshore oil and gas production facilities; maintenance of offshore facilities; and blasting and painting works. In addition, the company offers pipeline pre-commissioning, commissioning, and de-commissioning services, including cleaning maintenance, pigging, gauging, flooding, hydrotesting, dewatering, air/vacuum drying, leaks/nitrogen testing, flushing, degassing, and deoiling services. Further, it provides pipeline, structure, and topside, as well as preservation and abandonment de-commissioning services; ship management and chartering services, such as pipe lay barge, derrick lay barge, accommodation work barge, and work boat; and underwater services consisting of DPDSV, subsea underwater and maintenance, and underwater repair services.
