The company undertakes bulk earthworks, highway and interchanges, bridges, piling and foundation works, design and build works, and mass rapid transit works, as well as constructs commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. It also offers mechanical services, such as air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, fire protection, cold and hot water plumbing and sanitary, liquefied petroleum gas, and other mechanical related services; and electrical services, including high voltage and low voltage electrical services, and fixed telephone lines and wireless communication system services. In addition, the company engages in the development of residential and commercial properties; construction, maintenance, and management of facilities to provide treated water and power supply; investment activities; provision of management services; and oil palm cultivation. Further, it is involved in hire of plant and machinery; and property management and maintenance business. The company was formerly known as Lai Sing Holdings Berhad and changed its name to Gadang Holdings Berhad in November 1997.
