The company also operates specialist clothing stores together with other retailers. As of December 31, 2019, it operated 172 stores, including 143 stores in Germany, 24 stores in Austria, three stores in Luxembourg, and two stores in Switzerland, as well as an online shop. The company was founded in 1948 and is headquartered in Haibach, Germany. Adler Modemärkte AG is a subsidiary of S&E Kapital GmbH.
