It also provides subscriber edge solutions through DZS Helix comprising optical network terminals (ONTs) and smart gateway solutions for fiber to the x deployment; and connected premises products, consisting of indoor/outdoor ONTs and gateways that gives service providers a refined migration path from legacy voice to soft switch architectures without replacing ONTs. In addition, the company offers optical edge solutions through DZS Chronos and DZS Saber, which provides solutions for mobile operators and service providers that enables them to upgrade their mobile edge transport, mobile fronthaul/midhaul/backhaul systems, migrates to fifth generation wireless technologies, and high bandwidth optical transport and services that enables service providers to push high bandwidth transport closer to their subscribers near the edge of their networks.
