I am new to PyInvesting and when I select US stocks I see it shows selects list of 150 stocks. I am assuming these 150 stocks are filtered from list of stocks. How are these 150 stocks selected from the basked of US stocks (i.e., initial screening criteria )? Are they diversified across sectors similar to S&P 500? Thanks.

Hi h2019 h,
We have fixed the search bar. If you type SQ it will show up as the first result. Thanks!
Kind regards,

The search bar is searching by the name of the stock so you have to type in "Square," with a comma at the end to see Square, Inc. Thanks for your feedback we will improve this search feature!
No small caps most of these stocks are large caps. Just want a decent spread across different sectors for a balanced universe.
Thank you. Are there any other characteristics of this list of 150 stocks - for e.g, is there any min. market cap to filter out really small stocks etc.?
Hi Harry,
These are a default list of US stocks across different sectors with high volume. You can modify the list to add your own stocks as well to build your own custom universe.
Kind regards,
