Financial information

Hi,

It it possible to know the source of the companies financial data that feeds the software? I've found that in some cases the ROE, ROICs or P/E are quite different if you compare them with the official accounts.

Are they estimations? Or if they are not estimates, when does the model considers them? If the trade is proposed at January 1st, 2015 and it does acording the 2014 data it would be not very real due to the publication delay, isn't it?

How do you adjust it?

Thanks and congrats for your very good work!,

David

Hi David,

We get our financial data from eodhistoricaldata. Most of the fundamental data are from annual reports.

Earnings are annualized from quarterly earning reports (a rolling 1 year average is used).

Hope this helps!

Kind regards,
