The Content segment acquires licensing rights to feature films, series, documentaries, and other entertainment programs, including approximately 1,800 film titles from various genres, such as action, documentary, horror/fantasy, television (TV) series, comedy, children's and family entertainment, health and fitness/wellness courses, drama, and art-house. It also engages in the production of formats for television stations; online rental and sales comprising video-on-demand (VoD) and electronic sell-through (EST); sale and rental of physical audio-visual media, such as Blu-ray and DVD; and development and production of films for exploitation in cinemas, TV, and on subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) platforms. The Services segment provides dubbing and audio post-production services; and digitization services for VoD and EST marketing on the internet, as well as for Blu-ray and DVD productions. Splendid Medien AG was founded in 1974 and is based in Cologne, Germany.
