Tracsis plc, together with its subsidiaries, provides software and hardware, data analytics/GIS services for the rail, traffic data, and transportation industries in the United Kingdom, Ireland, rest of Europe, Europe, North America, and internationally. The company operates in two segments, Rail Technology & Services; and Data, Analytics, Consultancy & Events. The Rail Technology & Services segment provides a suite of operational software products covering timetabling, resource and rolling stock planning and optimization, real time performance and control, service recovery, retail services, incident management, retail services, and asset management; and infrastructure software services that include safety and risk management, data loggers and sensors, switch machines, track circuits, wiring and signalling systems, remote condition monitoring hardware and data acquisition, and asset optimisation and digital railway. This segment also offers smart ticketing and delay repay solutions. The Data, Analytics, Consultancy & Events segment provides geographical information systems and Earth Observation, as well as analytics solutions and services; consultancy, training, and technology-related professional services; transport data collection and analysis; and traffic management solutions and event admission control services. In addition, the company provides Centrix, a data acquisition software platform; and RailHub, a risk management and safety platform. It serves transport operators; network rail, passenger, and freight train operators; local authorities; music and sporting event organisers; engineering and infrastructure companies; and transit operators; highways authorities; and large engineering consultancies. Tracsis plc was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Leeds, the United Kingdom.
