Methods and evidence
PyInvesting research: methodology and editorial responsibility
PyInvesting publishes tools and explanatory research about systematic investing. PyInvesting is responsible for its source-controlled methodology guides and editorial revisions. Community articles retain their named author; a platform revision is identified separately. This page describes responsibility and process, not a claim of professional credentials or independent expert review.
Sources and reproducibility
Use an issuer or exchange disclosure for company identity, and identify the dataset and calculation used for a research claim. Our market breadth study provides a fixed input, checksum, CSV, charts and calculation code. Describe a fixed snapshot as a snapshot; do not present it as an updating dataset.
Financial assumptions and limits
Separate observed data, a hypothetical configuration, a completed backtest and live performance. The Fear & Greed tool distinguishes current breadth from illustrative allocation results. Record the data dates, universe, price basis, signal timing and available execution assumptions. Missing history, revisions, survivorship, selection, information availability and unmodeled broker costs can affect conclusions. Historical optimization does not establish future success.
Authorship and assistance
A visible byline identifies the author or responsible organization. AI-assisted articles are labeled where published. Automated draft generation and a recorded review do not establish independent expert verification. Qualifications and reviewer identities should appear only when factually supported.
Dates, revisions and corrections
The publication date records the original publication; an update date records a substantive editorial change. A deployment or a page visit does not refresh that date. The 12 October 2026 revisions of the no-code walkthrough and breakout guide describe the current interface and correct historical workflow claims.
Report a correction through Contact PyInvesting, with the page URL, specific statement and supporting source. Corrections should identify what changed and retain the distinction between the original article and its revision.
Interpreting search and product measurements
Search Console impressions and clicks describe observed search activity. Changes before and after publication are observations, not causal proof. Application signup and completed-result receipts are distinct from Google Analytics organic-session attribution; browser blocking and measurement coverage can undercount.
